Q: What's the minimum quantity I need to order to have something imprinted or embroidered?

A: Wearable items generally require a minimum of 12 pieces to embroider or screenprint. The minimum order for promotional items like magnets, koozies, pens, pencils, etc. vary depending on the item. Contact the dedicated sales staff at YNIS for more information.

Q: How quickly can I get something printed or embroidered?

A: Standard production time is generally 7 to 10 working days plus shipping.  However, YNIS has many suppliers that offer free or low cost rush production for those last-minute needs.  Contact YNIS for more information.

Q: What does "digitize" mean and how does it apply to embroidery?

A: To embroider a logo or stylized text, an embroidery tape is needed.  A digitizer recreates your design using a computer software program that allows the embroidery machine to read the file and transpose the design to your garment.

Q: Can I bring my own shirts and caps in to be embroidered?

A: You can bring in garments for us to embroider.  However, in most cases, because of the business relationships we have developed with blank apparel suppliers, YNIS can provide you with a decorated item for a lower cost than the embroidery cost plus what you would spend on the apparel item in a department store.

Q: Do you charge setup charges?

A: When applicable, setup charges are imposed by the factory that prints your order. Depending on the item being ordered there might or might not be a setup charge.  A factory might charge a setup charge to cover the cost of setting up the print machinery to run your order.  Many suppliers waive the setup cost on exact reorders.  The staff at YNIS is experienced in finding the best value for our customers. “Factory A” might charge a setup charge, but when all things are considered might provide a better value than “Factory B” who does not charge a setup charge but offers a higher unit cost.  In any case, all charges associated with an order will be quoted to the client for approval prior to the start of production.
